Details
198 Creative Learning’s mission is to provide professional digital media training for young creatives, with a focus on social inclusion. It involves practicing artists and designers and links with our exhibition programme.
Linked to our artistic programme, young people engage in digital media projects which give them a voice on contemporary issues and reconnect them with learning through creative process.
Our Creative Learning team works in partnership with a wide range of individuals and organisations to generate dynamic projects, which are disseminated widely in a range of media including print, web, film and animation.
The project aims to give young people a platform for their ideas and investigate the development of new cultural forms through an accredited programme, which offers computer graphics, illustration, interactive media and digital photography. From September 2009 198 is offering the 1 London project, a creative skills development programme funded by LDA through the 2012 Cultural Skills Fund. A document outlining the course is available to download from this site.
